History of Lucid Motors

Lucid Motors is a luxury electric vehicle (EV) brand based in California, founded in 2007 as Atieva. Atieva initially focused on developing electric powertrains for commercial vehicles, but in 2014, the company shifted its focus to luxury EVs and began developing its first prototype, the Lucid Air. In 2016, Atieva officially rebranded as Lucid Motors.

The company gained recognition for its innovative technology and design, with its first prototype, the Lucid Air, unveiled in 2016.
